Wolves enhance their playoff hopes with dominating win over Pine Bluff

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Lake Hamilton enhance its’ postseason aspirations Friday with a dominating win over Pine Bluff, 16-1.

Senior Carson Harris pitched the first six innings, limiting the Zebras to three hits. He walked none and struck out 10. Freshman Brent Davis pitched the seventh, allowing one hit and striking out two.

The Wolves scored all the runs they needed with four in the second inning. The rout ensued with two runs in the fourth, four in the sixth and six in the seventh.



Fireworks enhance Wolves’ prospects

Matthew Carmack led the Lake Hamilton fireworks with three hits. He scored twice and drove in a run. JT Bardwell had two doubles for the winners. He scored three runs and drove in three. Dylan Horton also had two doubles and drove in two runs. Weston Dobyns added a double and single, scoring three runs, while driving in one. Easton Hurley had a double.

Lake Hamilton improves to 12-6 on the year, and 6-4 in Conference 5A South.
