Teenager shot in drive-by shooting in North Little Rock


The Arkansas State Police is investigating a drive-by shooting incident from Sunday night at around 10:20 p.m.

Police say that gunfire was directed at a vehicle pulling onto the onramp of Interstate 30 at Broadway in North Little Rock. The 14-year-old male victim sustained a wound from a gunshot. Police say the driver of the car carrying the victim and another teen drove directly to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Neither the driver nor the other passenger were injured.

State troopers of the highway patrol division and special agents of the criminal investigation division are coordinating in a search for suspects and a yellow Dodge Challenger connected to the shooting.
