The Arkansas State Police says they have been asked to investigate the homicide of a 57-year-old Fulton County woman.
State Police say that Kristy Marie Taylor was found dead in the driveway of her home at 3012 Farmwood Road southwest of Salem just before 6:00 p.m. on July 9.
According to the state’s law enforcement agency via the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Taylor sustained a gunshot wound.
Taylor’s body is being transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory where the state medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Taylor was an employee of the sheriff’s department, according to the state’s law enforcement agency.
