
ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers, with the approval of Major League Baseball and the affected visiting teams, announced today that seven upcoming home games at Globe Life Field will start one hour earlier than on the original 2020 schedule.
The following games will be moved from 8:05 p.m. CT to 7:05 p.m. CT. This represents the final seven original 8:05 p.m. CT starts on Texas’ 2020 home schedule.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, August 24-26 versus Oakland A’s
Friday, August 28 versus Los Angeles Dodgers
Tuesday and Wednesday, September 8-9 versus Los Angeles Angels
Friday, September 11 versus Oakland A’s.
The Rangers and Seattle Mariners will conclude this series with an 8:05 p.m. CT game on Wednesday night. In addition, the game with the San Diego Padres on Monday, August 17 will remain an 8:05 p.m. CT start due to an FS1 national telecast.
The Rangers requested the earlier starting times for the convenience of fans watching and listening to games on television and radio as well as to accommodate the teams.
