LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Police say a southern Arkansas man suspected in the killings of his girlfriend and her 4-year-old son has been arrested in the Los Angeles area. Camden Police Chief Boyd Woody said Tuesday that the U.S. Marshals Service captured Jory Worthen on Monday in Burbank, California, following a foot chase across rooftops. KATV-TV reports that Worthen is facing two capital murder charges in the June 2019 deaths of 20-year-old Alyssa Cannon and her child at her home in Camden, about 100 miles southwest of Little Rock. He’s being held in the Los Angeles County jail pending his extradition to Arkansas.
