Arkansas State Police say a Lockesburg man suffered fatal injuries in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer Sunday.
At around 4:45 p.m., a 2010 Ford Fusion crossed the centerline and struck a Volvo tractor-trailer headed southbound. 20-year-old Bobby Smith was driving the Fusion and died at the scene, police say.
State police say conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident.
According to preliminary 2019 figures, at least 28 people have died on Arkansas roads.
