LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Early voting has begun for Arkansas’ primary runoff election. Voters could begin casting early ballots on Tuesday for the election, which features several Republican primaries for the state Legislature.
There are no statewide or congressional races on the ballots in the June 21 runoff. Several incumbent GOP lawmakers are fending off challenges for the GOP nomination for their seats.
State Legislature races are getting intense.
The most heated is a Republican race in north Arkansas that pits a GOP senator against a former lawmaker whom he defeated in a 2018 primary.
