AMITY — Centerpoint split their games Friday night against the Ashdown Panthers.
The boys varsity lost 58-33. The Panthers hit five 3-pointers and dominated the boards. Owen Bright was the leading scorer for the Knights, who fall to 7-6 and 4-1 in the conference.
Jaide Vavra led the Lady Knights with 27 points, including four 3-pointers, to outlast the Lady Panthers 48-42. Keasha Owens scored seven points, and Jasmine Keener produced six. Great hustle play from the Lady Knights with key offensive rebounds and steals preserved the six-point win as Centerpoint improves to 6-7 on the season and 4-1 in the conference.
