
The Centerpoint Knights beat the Murfreesboro Rattlers in a 48-20 blow out at Diamond Bank Stadium in Rosboro, Arkansas Friday night.
The Knights were led by sophomore sensation quarterback Josh Lawson.

Lawson passed for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns and the Knights who trailed 6-0 at one point, sailed to an easy victory.
Centerpoint had a balanced attack in the blow out over the Murfreesboro
Centerpoint had success in the air and on the ground. It was the epitome of a balanced attack. Senior Landon Way rushed 9 times for 90 yards, and he added a 48-yard touchdown reception to his stats.
Junior Houston Way had 64 rushing yards for the Knights, and he had 98 receiving yards including a 56-yard touchdown catch.
Sophomore junior CJ Fox was crazy like a fox with reception yards. He had 87 receiving yards including a 42-yard touchdown catch.
Centerpoint (2-0) has a bye week this week and they’ll be back in action Friday September 20th at home against Mountain Pine.
