The Centerpoint Knights beat Mena 15-13 to start the season 2-0.
Jaxson Harmon was the player of the game as he returned a 30-yard interception for a touchdown.
“We won a close, hard fought game,” coach Cary Rogers said. “The defense came up huge in the second half. We have a bye this week, so, we should be able to clean up a lot of our miscues before our next game.”
The Knights get back in action against Bigelow on Sept. 16.
