FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas Razorbacks will face the Providence Friars in the 2019 NIT Tuesday at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.
Game time will be at 8:00 p.m. and will be heard on Caddo Country Radio 98.9 FM/670 AM with pregame at 7:30 p.m.

The Hogs are in the postseason for the third time in as many seasons. 2019 will be the fourth time the Razorbacks have been in the NIT. Arkansas reached the second round twice in 1987 and 2014, and went as far as the semifinals in 1997.
Arkansas and Providence have met three times with Providence holding a 2-1 series lead. Two of the wins have come on the programs’ respective home courts. The last meeting between the schools was in the 2007 Puerto Rico Tip-Off when the Friars bested the Hogs 67-51.
All 31 games of the NIT will be broadcast on the ESPN networks. While the first three rounds are held at campus sites, the semifinals and finals will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 2 and 4.
