The Arkansas State Police say they have made an arrest in connection with the Dumas car show shooting on March 19.
State Police say they have arrested 22-year-old Brandon Deandra Knight of Jacksonville, who was taken into custody as he was released from a Dumas hospital at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday.
Knight is being charged with battery in the first degree along with aggravated assault. Knight is being held at the city jail in Dumas, and will be scheduled for a first appearance court hearing on Thursday.
State Police say the investigation continues and is in active status.
