LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas has hit another one-day record for new coronavirus cases, and the governor says plans to further loosen restrictions on businesses remains on hold because of the spike. The Health Department said Tuesday at least 7,818 people in the state have tested positive for the virus. That’s an increase of 375 over the 7,443 reported Monday. All but one of the cases were in the community, and the department said it marked the largest one-day increase in cases among the non-incarcerated. Arkansas also hit a new high in people hospitalized because of the virus.
