HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas father has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the death of his 5-month-old son.
Hot Springs police said 35-year-old Cody Webb was booked Tuesday into Garland County jail and is being held without bond.
Police responded to a call Friday
Police said officers responded to a call Friday involving an unresponsive infant at a home. The child was pronounced dead later that night at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
Police say the Arkansas State Crime Lab performed an autopsy and ruled the child’s death a homicide. Webb’s attorney says Webb “has had nothing to do with the cause of the infant’s death.”
