The Clark County Sheriff Office said the body of a Amity man was found near Amity, Arkansas today. The Sheriff’s Office said that 2 people are in custody.
Clark County Sheriff Jason Watson said in a news release that police found the body of 58-year old John Ratton was discovered near Norris Road, a few miles north of Amity.
Two people are in custody
Police said that Dartanya Stapleton and William Pennino, both of Amity, Ark., have been arrested pending formal charges, but they have not been filed yet.
Ratton’s body will be taken to the State Crime Lab, Sheriff Watson said. Sheriff Watson said authorities are still investigating.
