April 8, 2017- Amazing Faith Ministry hosts Easter Egg Hunt

The Amazing Faith Ministry at the corner of hwy 70 and Bethel Rd will be hosting a spring into blessings Easter egg hunt on April 8 @ 10 am. The hunt will include prizes of all kinds for kids of all ages.

Caddo Hills Chili Cook Off December 8th

Caddo Hills High School Band is hosting a fundraising Chili Cook Off and Concert on December 8th at 5pm.  Chili Cook Off registration is open to the public and forms can be picked up at the Caddo Hills High School office before 3:30pm MondayFriday.  Forms and entry fee will need to be returned by December 2nd.  Cash prizes will be determined by the number of entries. So make your best pot of chili, enjoy some great music, and support Caddo Hills High School Band

Pike County Mass Flu Clinic October 28

The mass flu clinic for Pike County will be held on Friday, October 28th at the Glenwood Senior Citizens Center in Glenwood. The hours will be from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

There is no charge for the vaccine. If you have insurance we ask for you to bring your insurance information.

Old Norman High School

New Upcoming Events in Norman to Raise Money for The Building!

Friday October 7 and Saturday October 8

Yard sale at the Old Norman High School by NHPP from 8am-4pm each day. All proceeds will be used to help restore the building and help make it handicapped accessible.

Saturday October 15 @ 6pm

Norman Fall Fest will be holding their annual beauty pageant at the Old Norman High School in Norman, Arkansas. Cost of Admission will be $3.00 for adults, $1.00 for students, and children under 3 are free. For more information about the pageant, please contact Teresa @ (870) 867-2229

Friday October 21 and Saturday October 22 High School Reunion @ Old Norman High School

The Old Norman High School will be having their reunion both Friday and Saturday from 9am until 4pm. Friday you may come tour the high school and home economics building and see the new renovations that have been completed since last year. On Saturday a meeting will be conducted to update everyone on the projects that have been completed as well as plans on future projects. Following the meeting will be a luncheon with a full menu of good eats! All we ask for is a donation to be used towards to upkeep of the building. Come and join us for the day. We invite anyone that went to school in Norman, friends of the community or anyone that would love to know the history of the Norman schools!

**All checks not picked up by December 31st will forfeit monies.

S.P.O.T.S
S.P.O.T.S, Special Pals of the Shelter, is a group of animal loving volunteers who work with Glenwood Animal Control Shelter to support the welfare and humane treatment of the residents there. S.P.O.T.S. helps with kennel maintenance, exercise and they socialize the residents, transport and seek adoptions. S.P.O.T.S also raises funds for subsidizing spay/neuters and providing basic medical care for the residents. S.P.O.T.S goal is to turn The Glenwood Animal Control into a low-kill facility. The Montgomery County Council for the Performing Arts will be hosting the play “The Sound of Music” Sept 6th at 7pm, Sept 7th at 2pm, Sept 13th at 7 pm, and Sept 14th at 2pm in the Roosevelt Auditorium which is located on 338 Whittington St in Mt Ida Arkansas. We would like to invite everyone to come out.
